Funeral Mass


Deceased Catholics whose residence within the boundaries of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, or who are active members may request for funeral Mass at the Parish. The death and baptism certificates are to be handed personally to the Parish Office.


Contact St Joseph Dying Aid Association for 24-hour one stop funeral arrangement. Their Services include: Care for the body, embalmment, wake arrangement, liaison with Crematorium office, and advices on Church arrangement etc.

Once the cremation time is confirmed by the Crematorium office, the Funeral Mass should be fixed 1 hour 30minutes before it.

There will be no Funeral Mass on Sundays. Funeral Service may be requested, arranged on Sunday afternoon between 2.30 pm and 4 pm.

Nightly prayer services can be requested. The prayer groups will be availiable to the request to the best of their ability.

Please liaise with the parish secretary for practical arrangements for the funeral, such as choir, servers, etc.

All the sacraments, and principally those of Christian initiation, have as their goal the last Passover of the child of God which, through death, leads him into the life of the Kingdom.
